WHO IS LORD JESUS CHRIST
One day Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father in low. While keeping the flock, Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush, and he looked, and , behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
Moses decided to turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said Moses, Here am I. More over He said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac and the God of Jacob.
Then God said to Mosses that, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me, and I have seen the oppression where with the Egyptians oppress them. Therefore I will send you unto Pharaoh, and you must bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
Then Mosses said to God, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, the God of your fathers hath sent me unto you and they shall say to me, what is his name? What shall I say unto them?
And the God said His name to Mosses.
I AM THAT I AM Exodus 3:14
OH ! What a great name it is! This means that,
Yesterday He is I AM THAT I AM, Today He is I AM THAT I AM and Tomorrow He is I AM THAT I AM.
Past, Present, Future He is “I AM THAT I AM” and He is the one and only one God.
The word of God says in 1st Kings 8:60, All the people of the earth may know that the LORD IS GOD, and THAT THERE IS NONE ELSE.
Isaiah 43:11 says that, I even I, am the Lord: and beside me there is no Saviour.
This is the truth and God never tells lie as word of God says in Numbers 23:19 that, God is not a man, that he should lie.
Mosses requested God to show God’s glory. Then God answered that, you could not see my face; for there shall no man see me, and live. [Exodus 33:18-23]. And the Lord said, behold, there is a place by me and you should stand upon a rock. And it shall come to pass, while my glory passed by, that I will put you in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and you should see my back parts.
This clift of the rock is Jesus Christ and
without Jesus Christ no one can see God.
Jesus said about Abraham to Jews in St John 8: 53 – 59 ,that, Yet you have not know him; but I know him; and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you. He continued that, your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; and he saw it, and was glad.
Jews said unto him that, thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou see Abraham?
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was I AM
Yes Jesus was there before Abraham and He is I AM THAT I AM who spokes to Mosses and He is the one and only one God.
Word of God says about this God (Jesus Christ) in St John 1:1-4 that, In the beginning was the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Word (Jesus Christ) was with God, and the Word (Jesus Christ) was God. The same (Jesus Christ) was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him (Jesus Christ), and without Him (Jesus Christ) was not any thing made that was made. In Him (Jesus Christ) was life, and the life was the light of men.
So, Jesus Christ is our one and only one God,
Jesus Christ is Word,
and the Word (Jesus Christ) is life.
Revelation 19:13 says that, “ He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God ".
Colossians 2:9 says that, For in Him (Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 1: 14-15 says that, in whom we have redemption. Who (Jesus Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature.
Jesus Says in St John 10:30 that, I and my Father are one.
One day Philip requested Jesus Christ to show them the Father.(St John14:8-12) Jesus said unto Him, Have I been so long with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father, and how said he then, show us the Father?
The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelled in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me.
So we have only one God, He is “I AM THAT I AM”
and He is Jesus Christ.
In the world there are only two persons, they known as the son of God.
St Luke chapter 3 words 38 said that, Enos, which was the son of Seth, Seth, which was the Son of Adam, Adam, which was the son of God.
When Jesus was baptized by the John the Baptist, word of God says in st Mark 1:11 that, there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Word of God says in St Luke 1:25 that, He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest.
In words 35, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee (Mary), and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
So please note that Jesus Christ and Adam are the two persons who came directly from God without the relationship of a man and women and both of them are called the Son of God.
Let us go to the real creation story in Genesis Chapter 2 & 3. In the beginning after creating Heaven and earth God created man and put him in Eden. God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him. So the man was filled by the glory of God. Then the Lord found that, it is not good that the man should be alone. So God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept. God took one of his ribs and made Eve.
While putting the man in Eden, God commanded the man not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which was in the middle of the garden, and for in the day that they eat, thereof they should surely die.
But the man fall by the serpent who tempted and cheated his wife Eve. She took that fruit and gave it to Adam and they ate it.
So by the offence of one man (1st son of God) sin along with death, cursed, sorrows are entered into this world and all are became the slaves of Satan. The God’s gifts glory, grace, eternal life, power, freedom that dwelt in man were returned to God. And the man and women were sent out from the Eden where there was also the fruit of the tree of life. And God gave a place in hell where the man should go after death. So man become sinful and separated from God. So he cannot know God personally or experience His love.
Word of God says in Romans 3: 23 that, for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God and Romans 6:23 says that, the wages of sin is death.
All human beings have to live with God; this is God’s will and He loves them very much. The word of God says in Jeremiah 31:3 that, You, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee. Because of His great love, God decided to save his children from the body of this sin and gave them freedom from the captivity to the law of sin to the captivity to the law of the spirit of life.
Sin entered into this world by the 1st son of God, Adam. So the deliverance of human beings also should come from the Son of God and God did not find such a person in Heaven or in earth. So God decided to come to this world as Son of God.
In Daniel 2:34, we can see a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of Iron and clay, and break them into pieces. In words 35 it says that, the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. This is a prophecy written by Daniel. This stone was God, it came by self and not cut out with any hands, it came from heaven and it is our Lord Jesus Christ. The great mountain is Kingdom of God.
The word of God says about Jesus Christ in Philippians 2:6-9 that, Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
So as per the prophecy in St Luke 1:35 Jesus Christ (God) came to this world by the son of Mary and the Son of God by the Holy Spirit.
The word Son is used in the scripture to show the relationship between God, Word of God and Jesus Christ.
By this Jesus Christ got the God’s nature from God and human nature from His mother Mary. Only through, such a person, who is having God’s nature and human nature at a time, can take all of us to the Father our God, as Jesus says nobody can reach Father without Jesus, and He is the Father.
So God, who is the Father and God, who is the Son are one and He is “I AM THAT I AM”
Jesus says in St John 16: 7 – 8 that, nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he comes, he will reprove the word of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
Jesus says in St John 14:16,17 that, He shall give you another comforter (Paraclete), the Spirit of the Truth. (Jesus is the way, the truth and the life - St John 14:6) But you know Him; for he dwelt with you, and shall be in you.
1st John 2:1 says that we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
Comforter / Advocate is one who help us and argue for us
St John 15:26,27 says that, but when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of the Truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.
St John 16:14-15 says that, He (Comforter) shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father had are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. The means that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one
If Jesus goes not away, the comforter (Holy Spirit) will not come unto us, because both are one. So if Jesus departs, He will send the comforter unto you.
So God, who is the Father and God, who is the Son and the comforter (Holy Spirit) are one and He is “I AM THAT I AM”
This is the trinity and three in one God.
As says in Isaiah 43:11 we have only one God and He says that, I even I, am the Lord: and beside me there is no Saviour.
2010 years ago, as per God’s plan, the righteous Jesus took all sins and iniquities of human beings and He offered Himself as a sin offering, crucified and shed blood for all of us. On the 3rd day He rose and took victory over death. By this He had broken the head of devil and gave freedom (ie freedom from all devil’s bonds- sin, diseases, sufferings etc) and eternal life to mankind. This is God’s salvation and this is a free gift from God.
If you want this salvation,
1] Repent and confess your sins and iniquities unto the Lord.
2] Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead.
3] Baptize
The word of God says in Romans 10:9 that, if you do these things, you will be saved.
So many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death. (Romans 6:3,4). Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:10, 11) For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Like wise reckon you also yourselfves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Please do not ignore this great salvation.
The word of God says in St John 12: 48, “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him.. the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
2 Corinthians 5 : 10 says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ., that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Dear Brother and Sister, we cannot ensure what is happening 1st, our death or the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. These two things can happen at any time. So remember, time will not wait for you. So take decision at right time. This moment please dedicate yourself fully for Jesus Christ
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20.
But if the spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His spirit that dwelt in you. Romans 8:11.
We are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. I will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2Corinthians 6: 16 & 18.
