Members' MinistryMy dear in Jesus Christ
Jesus says in St Luke 10:2 that, the Harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest. Please note that the Lord of the harvest is our God and He needs laborers for his harvest. The world is going towards to a big end and the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is very near. So please think, what your responsibility in this is?Jesus said one parable in St Luke 19:11-27, the same you can see in St Mathew 25:14-30, that, a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called ten of his servants and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, occupy and gain some more by trading. And it came to pass, that when he returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then came the 1st, saying, Lord I gained 10 more pounds. And the Lord said unto him, well, thou good servant: because he had been faithful in a very little, have him authority over ten cities. And the 2nd came, saying, Lord I gained 5 more pounds. So the Lord gave him authority over 5 cities. But another man came, saying, Lord, here is your pound, which I have kept lay in a napkin: For I feared thee, because thou art an austere (hard) man: reaping where thou have not sown, and gathering where thou have not strawed. And the Lord answered and said unto him, you wicked and slothful servant, you had known that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing the teeth (St Mathew 25:30). Lord takes the 10 pounds from him and give it to him that he gained 10 pounds as word of God says in St Luke 19:26 that unto every one which have shall be given: and from him that had not, even that he had shall be taken away from him. In St Mathew talents is used instead of pounds in St Luke. While reading this, every body thinks that God blessed us with money and he will give more if we do good things and give the money to others those who are deserved and it is enough.No…. No…. It is not like that. If you are doing that it is good, but you cannot please God only by this. It is only one deed of the law and word of God says in Romans 3:20 that, therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight. Word of God says in St Mathew 7:21 that, not every one that said unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of God, but he that did the will of my Father which is in heaven. The talents and pounds are the free gifts that you received directly from God. You have to occupy these free gifts and you have to make it more by trading. The most precious gift in this world is salvation. Word of God says in Ephesians 2:8 that, for thy grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the Gift of God. Holy Spirit is also a free gift from God. Love, peace and Joy are the free gifts of the Holy Spirit. So we have to make it more by occupy and trading. How you can make it more?St Mathew 10:8 says that, freely you have received, freely give. Jesus says in St John 14:6 that I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. So if you have saved through faith and received Jesus Christ, the way, the truth and the life, you have to show this Jesus Christ (the way, the truth and the life) to others. Word of God says in 1st Corinthians 12:3 that, no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit. So each time you show the way, the truth and the life (Jesus Christ) to others you will be filled by the Holy Spirit more and more. The word of God says in Mathew 5:15 that neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick and it gave light to all. So you have to give the light that you received from God to all others as word of God says in Mathew 5:16 let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Jesus said one parable in St Luke 15:8-9 about the lost of a silver of a lady. And when she has found it, she called her friends and her neighbors together, saying, rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Earlier the salvation was not with you as the above lost of silver. But now you received it. So you have to share your joy of salvation to your friends, neighbors, and to the world.Word of God says in Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. So we have to confess Lord Jesus Christ with our mouth.
